How Do I Accept Jesus Christ As Lord And Savior?
For those who are willing, For those who thirst for salvation this is what the Bible says you must do-
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10 )
Just believe in your heart today that Jesus is the Son of God and confess it with your mouth. Say: "Jesus I believe you are the son of the living, I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Today be the Lord of My life and teach me your ways daily by your spirit, fill me right now with your Holy Spirit In Jesus Name, Amen"
Having believed while making this confession,You are now a new person in Christ, forgiven of all your sins and washed clean by the Blood of Jesus! This is the working of a supernatural God.
If you don't already have one-purchase yourself a Bible, I always recommend the (New Living Translation) for new believers. Begin with the book of John, read all through it. Next read Luke, Mark and Matthew all the way to Revalations. Afterwards, you can then read from the book of Genesis, up to the book of Matthew.
Begin to study your Bible daily to learn who Jesus is and who He says you are in Him. I am not going to promise you that things will be smooth from here on. You will encounter some storms, some level of persecution, friends and family may not accept your choice to follow Christ. But I can promise that accepting Christ as your Lord and savior is the best investment you could have ever made for your life. I can promise that even when times get hard that Jesus will be there every step of the way to lead you and guide you on the best path for your life.
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.-(Psalm 32:8).
I strongly recommend you find a good local church. Begin to attend Bible study and prayer meetings to help you grow further in your faith and fellowship with others.
