What's Wrong With Me?

Nothing Is Wrong With You!

God delivered me from low self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy many years ago. It didn’t happen all at once for me- it was a process. I no longer have the same question of ‘What’s Wrong With Me?’ God answered me one day and told me, “ You're what's wrong with YOU!” Recently he reminded me of 4 major strategies that helped me to overcome those low times.

1.Discover Yourself!

Do you know the treasures that are buried in you? It’s time to invest in what God has put inside you. Everyone has something to offer but you have to be willing to invest some time, resources and energy into developing those treasures. 

If you're not sure what those treasures are, ask the Lord, He is waiting to hear your inquiry!

 

2. Don’t Compare YourSelf To Others!

Comparison leads to fear, anxiety and paranoia which can reflect signs of low self esteem and inadequacy. Learn to rest in your story and identity. Your story isn’t going to look like anyones elses. And that’s okay!

You have to stop watching what everyone else is doing. Please stop comparing yourself to people who are at different growth, times and seasons in their lives. Just receive God's peace in “ know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

 

3.Accept Who You Are!

Wholeness and fulfillment are from within. People who are whole know who they are and don’t seek validation from people or things.Receive the peace and joy that comes through the fruits of God's spirit.

It’s normal not to like or want to change somethings about yourself but you should come to a point of self acceptance, being content with who you are and what you have.

 

4.Now It’s time to Grow!

Whether it be hobbies, skills, talents- develop your craft. It’s time to dream again and put those things into action. Allow God to help you become the best version of YOU, not the best version of somebody else!

Let the spirit of the Lord help, teach and counsel you, if you're not sure where to start ask the Lord through prayer. You can also seek the counsel of trusted Men & Women Of God, who have been proven trustworthy. He has strategies waiting for you so you can walk out the greatness in you. He wants to get all the glory out of your life.
