Did God Send You?

Therefore come now and I will send you…(Exodus 3:10)

I truly believe that just as the Lord positioned Moses to encounter Pharoah, He has also prearranged a sending anointing for you. If we allowed Him to develop our character in humility, He would send us forth with great apostolic influence.

Has God Endorsed You?

When people see the word apostolic, they automatically associate it with becoming an apostle. The word apostalic simply means “sent.” This means that God endorses you. For example, when someone endorses a politician, it means, “You should vote for this person, and I’m putting my reputation on the line to say so''. When God endorses or countersigns you, He’s sending you forth to represent Him in a particular task.

And the Lord said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest [ by bringing you and the people into the promised land].”-(Exodus 33:14)

When the Lord sent Moses to confront Pharaoh (see Exodus 3:10), there was no mistake about who had sent him because he carried with him the very presence of God.

For then how can it be known that Your people and I have found favor in Your sight? Is it not by Your going with us…(Exodus 33:16)

It’s imperative as children of God that we don’t just rise up and do our own thing but co-labor with heaven and wait to be led by the Holyspirit. Moses knew the destruction that awaited those who ran ahead without being sent, and for this reason, he insisted on being shown God's glory as proof that he was being sent.

What Is The ‘Glory’ You Ask?

In whatever you are truly called to do in God’s Kingdom, the sent-one anointing must rest upon you because it’s God's literal presence [His Glory] resting upon your life.

I love the way that Prophetess Mattie Nottage explained the glory:

“The glory of God is all of the excellencies of God revealed-His weight, His magnificence. It’s everything that God is, coming into that place.”

Therefore because Moses waited to be led by God, certain factors had already been aligned. He had two key characteristics as evidence that he was walking under the power of ‘The sent one anointing’-fruits and recognition.

Recognizable Fruits

"For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit…-(Luke 6:44)

For example, If you are truly called to help a church by working in the media department, prayer ministry, or even street ministry, you will have fruit to show for it. Secondly, all your gifts and abilities will be recognizable to other believers and those in ministerial leadership. These are some of the factors that must be present to practice in full-time ministry as well. Every day people are trying to accomplish things in their lives and trying to do it void of the presence of the Lord. The presence is the significance to ‘The Glory Of God’ being upon your life; it’s the manifested glory like Moses encountered upon your life.

"Then Moses said, “Please, show me your glory!”And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the Name of the Lord before you;...-(Exodus 33:18-19)

Until God has confirmed your time to be sent, we must be willing to humble ourselves until both legitimate fruit and recognition become evident. Allow the Lord today to show you his endowment of the apostolic ‘sent one anointing that he has reserved for you. Allow the Lord today to develop your character in humility and to place mature fruits so that you can be sent forth with great influence so you can be a blessing to His kingdom.
